The NAB Show Booth People Return To
At trade shows, there are some booths where people stop by because they have an appointment.
And then there are booths where people return because they feel at home there. For us at 2110 Solutions, the Bridge Technologies booth has increasingly become exactly that kind of place.
We have been working with the Oslo-based company for four years now, representing their monitoring solutions across the US market, and the journey has been remarkably successful. But technology alone never fully explains why certain partnerships work. There is always something else underneath: a shared mentality, a rhythm, a way of interacting with people.
At first glance, Norway and Italy might appear worlds apart. One evokes fjords, silence and precision. The other espresso bars, long dinners and expressive conversations. Yet beneath those surface contrasts, the similarities are surprisingly strong. Both cultures place enormous value on personal relationships, trust, quality of life and taking pride in doing things properly. Even socially, the distance is smaller than stereotypes suggest. Norwegians understand warmth very well; Italians understand loyalty equally well.
For me, those parallels have always felt natural. With Italian roots myself, the connection with the Norwegian culture behind Bridge Technologies was immediate. Beyond the shared industry experience, there was also a familiar appreciation for hospitality, trust and long-term relationships. Perhaps that is why we immediately felt welcomed by Bridge Technologies from the very beginning. Not as external representatives, but as part of the broader team.
At NAB 2026, that atmosphere extended beyond the booth itself. Dinners at Ferraro’s became almost symbolic of the experience. I never expected to find such a genuinely excellent Fiorentina steak imported with such care and quality in Las Vegas. But that attention to detail reflected something we saw repeatedly throughout NAB week itself: a company that genuinely values quality, precision and hospitality in equal measure.
Multichannel Synchronisation
This year, the Bridge booth was continuously busy. What stood out was not simply the volume of visitors, but the nature of the conversations. Customers arrived in groups, often returning customers, already deeply familiar with the solutions and looking to expand existing deployments. Some wanted yet another VB440. These were not speculative conversations; they were practical discussions grounded in real operational workflows.
The audience itself also reflected how much the industry continues to converge. IT specialists, audio engineers, video engineers, systems architects and creatives moved through the same space discussing the same infrastructures from different professional perspectives. Increasingly, monitoring is no longer treated as an isolated technical layer somewhere in the background. It has become central to operational confidence.
One topic repeatedly dominated conversation at the booth: the VB440’s Multi-Service AV Sync feature. As broadcasters continue managing multiple simultaneous delivery paths, synchronisation has become critical not just technically, but operationally. This feature attracted constant interest because it addresses a very real and increasingly visible challenge inside modern multichannel production environments. This was solidified by TVTech Best of Show award!
Shared curiosity
Special thanks to my colleague Jess who ceaselessly demoed and interacted with visitors at the booth. Just as important as customers were the partners who stopped by. Jess and I were especially grateful to see companies such as Digital Video Group, Diversified Systems and TAB M visiting the booth together with customers but also taking time to explore the new capabilities in greater depth themselves. Those exchanges matter because they reinforce something fundamental about this part of the industry: expertise still spreads from person to person, conversation to conversation.
Another highlight for the 2110 Solutions team was seeing the NEP Platform demonstrated on the booth together with the VB440. The recently launched on-demand multi-vendor orchestration platform represents an important step forward in the evolution of software-defined production.
